Despite ongoing urban development and human-induced pressures, Lake Yerevan and Dalma Gardens continue to play an important role in biodiversity conservation and the provision of ecosystem services within the city.

Through thematic exhibitions and expert presentations, the event will highlight the rich biodiversity of these areas, the distinctive features of their flora and fauna, the ecosystem services they provide and their importance to the city and its residents, as well as the key challenges associated with conserving their natural values.

The event will also feature interactive species identification activities, offering participants an opportunity to apply their knowledge in practice and explore the diversity of nature within the urban environment.
