“Biodiversity and Sustainable Local Development – Armenia” Project

Starting January 2026, Solution Company will officially join the implementation of the “Biodiversity and Sustainable Local Development in Armenia” program by leading the forest component. The main objective of the program is to ensure sustainable forest management, restoration, and effective conservation, while promoting the socio-economic development of adjacent communities.

The key focus areas of the forest component include:

• Selection of target forest enterprises and assessment of their operational and management mechanisms, conducted in cooperation with the Ecopatrol Service and the Hayantar SNCO

• Engagement of local communities in financial and management processes

• Enhancement of the efficiency of the comprehensive forest management body

• Strengthening the capacity of the Ecopar Ecology Service through provision of technical and specialized equipment, as well as professional training

The “Biodiversity and Sustainable Local Development in Armenia” program is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through the KfW Development Bank, and is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia. The program’s consulting partner is the German company GOPA Worldwide Consultants GmbH.
